How it works

Four steps. No re-typing. No spreadsheet.

You make the judgment calls a fiduciary has to make. FiduKit does the arithmetic, the categorization pass, and the form assembly. That is the whole division of labor — and it never changes.

1. Upload the statement PDFs

Drag in the raw bank and brokerage statements for the whole accounting period — every account the conservatee holds, checking and brokerage alike. There is no import wizard to learn and no CSV to coax out of your bank's website: the PDFs your bank already mails or posts are the input.

Parsing happens inside your browser tab. The files are read by JavaScript running on your own machine, in a background thread so the page never freezes, and they are never uploaded. You can confirm that yourself — open your browser's DevTools, switch to the Network tab, and watch it stay empty while a two-year statement set goes through. That check is on the privacy and security page, step by step.

Shoebox mode. If a month is missing, FiduKit says so instead of quietly producing a short accounting. Gaps in statement coverage are surfaced as warnings against the period you declared, so you find the missing March statement now rather than after the examiner does.

2. Review only what's flagged

Most transactions in a conservatorship accounting are unambiguous: the Social Security deposit, the care-facility debit, the utility payment. Those categorize themselves into the right GC-400 schedule. What is left is the handful that needs a fiduciary's judgment — a handwritten check whose payee the statement image never resolved, a cash withdrawal with no payee at all, a transfer between two accounts that must not be double-counted as both a receipt and a disbursement.

Those go in a review queue, one card each, with the reason it was flagged stated plainly. You answer with a click. A typical 2,847-transaction period leaves about a dozen decisions, and the queue tells you how many are left at every moment.

3. Watch it balance to the penny

The equation an examiner checks first is the one every accounting lives or dies by: property on hand at the start, plus receipts, must equal disbursements plus property on hand at the end. FiduKit cross-foots every schedule against that equation continuously, so the balance bar is never a surprise at the end — it moves while you work.

If it doesn't balance, the packet does not unlock. That is not a limitation; it is the product. An unbalanced accounting is the single most common reason a filing comes back, and software that lets you export one has failed you. FiduKit instead points at the discrepancy — which schedule, which transaction, which figure — and walks you to the fix.

4. Download the complete packet

The output is the full GC-400 series: the summary of account and every schedule it needs, plus the statutory attachments required under Probate Code §2620(c), assembled in order and paginated as one PDF. Print it, review it, sign it, and file it.

Regenerating costs nothing extra and is unlimited. Correct a category, add a late statement, respond to an examiner's note, produce an amended accounting a year later — same project, same purchase, no second charge, ever.

What FiduKit never does

  • It does not file anything. No court e-filing integration, no service of process, nothing submitted on your behalf.
  • It does not give legal advice. Which schedule a transaction belongs on is an arithmetic and classification question; whether a particular expenditure was proper is a legal one, and that one is yours and your attorney's.
  • It does not send your data anywhere. There is no telemetry in the app — not anonymized, not aggregated, not opt-in. Zero.

One accounting. One flat $199.

Watch the walkthrough to see the whole job done — statements in, every schedule cross-footed, the GC-400 packet out — then buy the accounting in front of you. One fee per accounting: no subscription, no seats, and every re-run, correction and re-export of that accounting is included.

If we can't read your statements well enough to build the accounting, tell us and we refund it — no argument, no forms.
