Walkthrough
Watch the whole job run before you buy.
One accounting, start to finish: statement PDFs in, the finished GC-400 packet out.
What the walkthrough covers, in order
01Setting up one accounting: the conservatee, the case number and the court's period.
02Twelve statement PDFs added as downloaded, beside a live network log: no statement data is uploaded.
03A QuickBooks register imported for one account and reconciled to the statements.
04Review: most transactions categorized automatically, only the judgment calls left to you.
05A statement whose opening balance couldn't be read, held until you enter it.
06Investments and property: a house, stock, a 3-for-2 split, cash in lieu and a partial sale with its gain, then end-of-period market values.
07Liabilities answered, and every schedule balanced to the penny.
08The GC-400 packet, the Excel workbook and a passphrase-protected backup, with each account's period-end statement attached under Probate Code §2620(c).
09The next accounting, started from where this one ended.
The old way
An accounting shouldn't be a second job.
2yrs
of statements in each accounting after the first (Probate Code §2620(a)).
1,500–3,000
transactions in a typical accounting, each one keyed by hand.
1error
is all it takes for the examiner to send the filing back.
How it works
Four steps. No re-typing. No spreadsheet.
You make the judgment calls; FiduKit does the arithmetic.
First, create an account, buy the accounting ($199), and enter the case and the
court's period.
01
Add the statement PDFs
Drag in the bank and brokerage statements for the whole period. They are read
in your browser and never uploaded. Keep a register in QuickBooks, Quicken or
a spreadsheet? Import it instead, checked against the statements to the penny.

02
Review only what's flagged
Most transactions categorize themselves. You answer only the few that need a fiduciary's
judgment, such as an unclear check or a transfer between accounts.

Watch it balance to the penny
Property at the start plus receipts must equal disbursements plus property at the end:
the examiner's first check. FiduKit totals every schedule and holds the packet until
both sides agree to $0.00 and every flagged statement is checked.
It also asks what no statement shows: each non-cash asset's market value (Probate Code
§1063(a)) and what the estate owed, for Schedule G.

Common questions
Straight answers.
Do you file the accounting for me?
No. FiduKit prepares the accounting forms; you review them and file them with the court. The packet has no signature lines: the signature and verification go on the petition for approval of the account, which you or your attorney prepare. FiduKit is document-preparation software, never your attorney and never a substitute for one.
Is my client's financial data safe?
Your client's statements never leave your computer. They are read inside your browser; no statement, transaction or balance is uploaded, and you can confirm that in your browser's DevTools Network tab. Our servers hold only your account: name, email, sign-in details and purchases, all listed on the privacy page. For your firm's IT reviewer, see the security overview.
Which forms do you produce?
The official Judicial Council GC-400 series (the summary of account and each schedule your accounting uses), plus the statements required under Probate Code §2620(c), listed on a cover index and assembled into one paginated packet for you to review and file with your petition. The guides page lists every form.
What if it doesn't balance?
Then you can't download it. FiduKit points to the discrepancy, down to the transaction. The packet unlocks only when charges equal credits to the penny.
